Open the enchanting table
Put the item in the left slot
Put lapis lazuli in the right slot
Choose an enchantment option
Use an anvil with enchanted books to combine or apply specific enchantments
Use a grindstone to remove enchantments if needed
Use an enchantment book from fishing, trading, or loot to enchant items with an anvil
Increase enchantment options by using more bookshelves and higher experience levels
