Click the cell you want to enter data into
Type the text, number, or formula
Press Enter to confirm and move to the next cell
Press Tab to confirm and move to the next cell on the right
Double-click the cell or press F2 to edit an existing entry
Use Alt + Enter to insert a line break within the same cell
Click the formula bar to enter or edit cell contents there
