Search the person’s full name on LinkedIn
Use the LinkedIn search bar and filter by location, company, or school if needed
Check mutual connections or shared groups to narrow results
Compare the profile details with the email domain, job title, and company
If you have their email, search the email address in LinkedIn search
Use Google with the query: site:linkedin.com/in “Full Name” “Company”
Use Google with the query: site:linkedin.com/in “email@example.com”
Check email signatures, contact cards, or previous messages for a LinkedIn link
Look at company websites, author pages, or speaker bios for their LinkedIn profile
Search the person’s name on other social platforms that may link to LinkedIn
If the email is a work email, match the domain to the company and search that company’s employees on LinkedIn
Open the profile and copy the URL from the browser address bar
Remove tracking parameters from the copied URL if present
Save the cleaned LinkedIn profile URL for future use
