List all your classes and their grades
Convert each grade to grade points using your school’s scale
Note the credit hours for each class
Multiply each class’s grade points by its credit hours
Add all the grade points earned
Add all the credit hours attempted
Divide total grade points by total credit hours
Use the result as your GPA
Check whether your school uses weighted or unweighted GPA
Check whether your school uses a 4.0 scale or another scale
