Type the person’s username, name, or phone number if you have it
Check the search results for the correct profile
If you know their username, search with the exact @username
If you have their phone number, save it in your contacts and sync contacts in Telegram
Open Contacts in Telegram to see matched users
Use a mutual group or channel and look for their profile there
Ask them to send you their Telegram username or link
Use a direct t.me/username link if you know their username
Make sure the account is not hidden by privacy settings
Verify the profile photo, bio, and username before messaging
