How To Find The Range Of A Graph?

Identify all possible y-values on the graph

Find the lowest y-value and the highest y-value

Check whether the graph includes or excludes those endpoint values

Write the range using interval notation or inequality notation

Include any gaps, breaks, or separate parts of the graph

For graphs with arrows, extend the range in the direction of the arrows

For graphs with holes, exclude the y-values at those holes

For graphs with asymptotes, exclude any y-values the graph never reaches

List all y-values covered by the graph from bottom to top
