Open Excel
Click File
Click Info
Click Manage Workbook
Click Recover Unsaved Workbooks
Select the unsaved file
Open the file
Save it immediately
Check the AutoRecover folder in Excel options
Search for files with .xlsx, .xlsm, or .xlsb extensions
Check the Recent files list in Excel
Look in the temporary files folder
Use Windows search for the workbook name
Check OneDrive or SharePoint version history if the file was stored there
