Select the column you want to fix
Go to the View tab
Click Freeze Panes
Choose Freeze First Column or Freeze Panes
To keep a column visible while scrolling, place the active cell to the right of the column you want fixed before using Freeze Panes
To adjust column width, drag the right border of the column header
To auto-fit the column, double-click the right border of the column header
To unhide a hidden column, select the columns around it, right-click, and choose Unhide
To lock a column in a protected sheet, go to Review, click Protect Sheet, and set the allowed options
To move or copy a column, select it, cut or copy it, then insert it in the new location
