Gently rotate the stick while spraying compressed air
Use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab around the stick base
Move the stick in circles while cleaning to loosen debris
Reset the PS5 controller using the small reset button on the back
Re-pair the controller to the PS5 with a USB cable
Update the controller firmware through the PS5 system settings
Adjust the deadzone settings in supported games
Test the controller in different games to confirm the drift
Replace worn analog stick modules if cleaning does not help
Contact PlayStation Support if the controller is still under warranty
Use a different controller if the drift persists
