Clean the analog stick with compressed air
Gently rotate the stick while spraying
Remove dirt around the stick base with a soft brush
Reset the controller
Reconnect the controller to the console or PC
Update the controller firmware
Calibrate the controller in system settings
Increase the dead zone in game settings
Replace worn analog stick modules
Replace the controller if repair is not practical
