Wait for the timer to end and try the correct passcode
If Face ID or Touch ID is available, use it before too many failed attempts
Connect the iPhone to a Mac or PC with Finder or iTunes
Put the iPhone into recovery mode
Choose Restore when prompted
Erase the iPhone from iCloud Find My if available
Use the Erase iPhone option on the lock screen if shown
Set up the iPhone again after erasing
Restore from an iCloud or computer backup if available
Contact Apple Support if recovery mode restore fails
