Replace the batteries
Check battery orientation
Clean the battery contacts
Remove and reinsert the batteries
Make sure nothing is blocking the TV sensor
Point the remote directly at the TV
Move closer to the TV
Test the remote with a phone camera
Reset the remote by removing the batteries for 30 seconds
Power cycle the TV
Unplug the TV for 60 seconds and plug it back in
Check for stuck buttons
Clean the remote buttons
Re-pair the remote if it is Bluetooth or voice-enabled
Replace the remote batteries with new ones
Try the TV’s physical buttons
Test with a universal remote or another remote
Check for TV settings that disable remote control
Update the TV firmware
Replace the remote if it is damaged
