Press and hold the Power button until the MacBook turns off
If your MacBook has Touch ID, press and hold the Touch ID button until it shuts down
If the screen is frozen, press and hold Command + Control + Power until the MacBook restarts or powers off
If your MacBook has a Touch Bar, press and hold the Touch ID button
Wait a few seconds, then press the Power button again if needed
