Remove laces and insoles (if removable)
Brush off loose dirt with a dry soft brush or cloth
Mix warm water with a small amount of mild detergent (or dish soap)
Dip a soft brush or cloth into the solution and gently scrub the uppers
For stubborn stains, apply a paste of baking soda and water, then gently scrub
For scuffs on rubber soles, use a melamine eraser or a baking soda paste with extra scrubbing
Spot-clean white mesh or fabric with a gentle brush to avoid fraying
Rinse with a clean, damp cloth to remove soap residue
Wipe dry with a towel
Air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight
Once dry, reinsert insoles and re-lace
For whitening rubber, use a small amount of hydrogen peroxide (3%) on a cloth for spot treatment, then wipe and rinse lightly
Avoid bleach unless the trainer material label explicitly allows it
Do not machine wash or tumble dry unless the care label says it’s safe
Protect after cleaning with a water- and stain-repellent spray (once fully dry)
