Save the PIN, password, or freeze confirmation information
Repeat the process for all three bureaus
Keep the freeze active until you choose to lift or remove it
Use the bureau’s website, phone number, or mail options if available
Request a temporary lift or permanent removal when needed for credit applications
Check your freeze status periodically to confirm it remains active
