Rinse mint leaves under cold water
Pat the leaves completely dry
Remove any damaged or yellow leaves
Choose whole leaves or chop them as needed
Place leaves in a single layer on a baking sheet
Freeze the baking sheet until the leaves are solid
Transfer the frozen leaves to an airtight freezer bag or container
Remove as much air as possible before sealing
Label the container with the date
Store in the freezer for up to 6 months
For herbs in drinks or cooking, freeze mint in ice cube trays with water or oil
Use frozen mint directly from the freezer without thawing
