Back up your files, app data, and product keys
Download the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft
Insert an empty USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of space
Use the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable Windows 11 USB
Shut down the PC
Plug in the bootable USB drive
Turn on the PC and open the boot menu or BIOS/UEFI
Set the USB drive as the first boot device
Save changes and restart
When Windows Setup starts, choose language, time, and keyboard settings
Select Install now
Enter your product key or choose I don’t have a product key
Select the Windows 11 edition that matches your license
Accept the license terms
Choose Custom: Install Windows only
Select the drive or partition where Windows is installed
Delete existing Windows partitions if you want a completely clean install
Select the unallocated space and click Next
Wait for Windows 11 to install and restart
Complete the on-screen setup steps
Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Sign in with a Microsoft account or create a local account if available
Set privacy and device preferences
Run Windows Update
Install chipset, graphics, audio, and network drivers
Reinstall your apps and restore your files
Activate Windows if needed
