Dry the area completely with a soft microfiber cloth
Identify the direction of the grain
Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner or polish
Rub gently along the grain with a soft cloth
For light scratches, apply a baking soda paste and buff along the grain
For deeper scratches, use a stainless steel scratch removal kit
Use fine-grit sandpaper only if the finish allows it and test on a hidden area first
Sand or buff only in the direction of the grain
Wipe away residue and inspect the scratch
Repeat as needed until the scratch is reduced
Finish with stainless steel polish to restore shine
