Scrape off any excess chocolate with a dull knife or spoon
Blot the area with a clean paper towel
Mix a small amount of dish soap with cold water
Dampen a clean cloth with the solution
Dab the stain gently from the outside toward the center
Blot with a dry cloth to lift moisture
Repeat until the stain fades
Use a cloth dampened with plain cold water to rinse the area
Blot dry with a towel
Let the couch air dry completely
Vacuum the area if needed after it dries
