Use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+V on Mac
Use the menu option: Edit > Paste Special > Paste and Match Style
Right-click and choose Paste as plain text if available
Paste into a plain text editor first, then copy again
Use a browser or app’s “paste without formatting” command if supported
Remove formatting after pasting using the app’s clear formatting tool
Turn off rich text mode if the app allows it
