Blot the stain with a clean paper towel or cloth
Rinse the stained area with cold water from the back of the fabric
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse again with cold water
If the stain remains, apply rubbing alcohol to a clean cloth and dab the stain
Rinse thoroughly after using rubbing alcohol
Wash the clothing in the hottest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the process if needed before putting the item in the dryer
