Press and hold the Shift key while selecting Restart
On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot

Select Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking
Press 6 or F6 for Safe Mode with Command Prompt
If Windows will not start, interrupt boot three times to open Automatic Repair

Select Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
On some systems, press F8 during startup to open Advanced Boot Options
Select Safe Mode from the menu
If using Windows settings, open Settings

Under Advanced startup, select Restart now
