Redirect biting to a toy immediately
Never use hands or feet as toys
Stop play as soon as biting starts
Walk away for 30 to 60 seconds after a bite
Use short, frequent play sessions to burn energy
Provide plenty of interactive toys
Reward gentle play with treats or praise
Avoid rough play that encourages biting
Keep your hands still if the kitten bites during petting
Offer a chew-safe toy when the kitten gets mouthy
Make sure the kitten is not bored or overstimulated
