Submit your license application to TREC
Create an account with TREC
Pay the application fee
Get fingerprinted for a background check
Pass the state and national licensing exam
Apply to Pearson VUE for the exam
Schedule and take the exam
Pass both portions of the exam
Find a sponsoring Texas broker
Submit your sponsorship request through TREC
Activate your license with the broker
Maintain your license with required continuing education
Complete post-licensing and renewal requirements as needed
