Dab the stain with acetone using a cotton ball or cloth

Replace the paper towel underneath as it absorbs the polish
Repeat until the stain lifts
Rinse the area with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent to the spot
Wash the fabric according to the care label
Air-dry the fabric and check that the stain is gone before using heat
