Turn on the TV and the Xfinity device you want to control
Press and hold the Setup button on the remote until the LED changes from red to green
Enter the 5-digit TV code for your TV brand
If the LED blinks green twice, the code was accepted
Test the Power, Volume, and Mute buttons
If the remote does not work, repeat the steps with a different TV code
For Xfinity Voice Remotes, press and hold the Xfinity and Mute buttons until the light turns green
Follow the on-screen pairing instructions if prompted
Use the Xfinity remote setup option in the TV or Xfinity menu if available
Replace the batteries if the remote does not respond
Reset the remote if needed by removing the batteries and pressing each button once
Re-pair the remote after resetting if necessary
