Turn on the TV and the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Xfinity remote
Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes from red to green
Enter the 5-digit TV or device code using the number pad
Wait for the LED to blink green twice
Test the remote with Power, Volume, and Input buttons
If the code does not work, repeat with a different code for your TV brand
If you do not have a code, use the Xfinity remote setup process through the TV menu or Xfinity app if supported
For voice remotes, press and hold the Microphone or Voice button and follow the on-screen prompts
To pair an Xfinity XR11 or XR15 remote with the cable box, press and hold Setup until the light turns green, then enter 9-8-1
If needed, reset the remote by removing the batteries, pressing a button for 10 seconds, reinserting the batteries, and trying again
