Open WhatsApp
Tap Settings
Tap Notifications
Turn on Message notifications
Turn on Group notifications
Turn on Call notifications
Check that notifications are not muted for specific chats
On your phone, open Settings
Tap Apps
Tap WhatsApp
Tap Notifications
Turn on Allow notifications
Make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off
Make sure WhatsApp is allowed to run in the background
Make sure battery saver is not restricting WhatsApp
Check that your phone volume is not muted
Update WhatsApp to the latest version
Restart your phone if notifications still do not appear
