Write over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker
Wipe it off immediately with a dry cloth or whiteboard eraser
Use rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth
Use hand sanitizer on a cloth
Use a whiteboard cleaner spray
Use a magic eraser gently
Repeat as needed
Dry the board completely after cleaning
