Have a Portuguese grandparent and meet legal requirements
Marry or live in a de facto union with a Portuguese citizen for at least 3 years
Reside legally in Portugal for the required period and apply for naturalization
Be a descendant of Sephardic Portuguese Jews, if eligible under current law
Be adopted by a Portuguese citizen, if the adoption is legally recognized
Be a minor or legally dependent child of a Portuguese citizen
Prove sufficient knowledge of the Portuguese language
Have no serious criminal record
Submit the required documents to the Portuguese authorities
Wait for the application to be reviewed and approved
