Blot the stain with a clean white cloth to remove excess dye
Rinse the stained area with cold water from the back of the fabric
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric against itself or with a soft brush
Soak the garment in cold water for 30 to 60 minutes
Wash the clothing in the coldest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if the stain remains
Use color-safe oxygen bleach if the fabric allows it
Test any stain remover on a hidden area first
Avoid hot water until the stain is gone
Do not put the item in the dryer until the stain is removed
For stubborn stains, use a stain remover made for dye transfer
Follow the care label instructions on the garment
