Locate the cricket by listening for chirping
Turn off lights and reduce noise
Close doors and windows to contain it
Use a cup and stiff paper to trap and release it outside
Sweep it into a dustpan and take it outside
Vacuum it up if needed
Set sticky traps near walls and corners
Remove food, water, and clutter from the area
Seal cracks, gaps, and entry points
Use a cricket bait or insecticide if necessary
Contact pest control if the problem persists
