Empty and clean the vacuum immediately after use
Wipe down cup holders, console, door pockets, and dashboard with a damp cloth
Check for and remove any ant trails or nests inside the car
Park away from trees, bushes, garbage bins, and ant colonies
Use ant bait stations near the car, not inside passenger areas
Place bait around the garage or parking area if needed
Avoid spraying strong insecticides directly inside the car
Seal cracks, gaps, and entry points around doors, windows, and vents
Wash floor mats and let them dry completely
Clean spilled food or sugary drinks right away
Keep windows closed when parked
Use a handheld steam cleaner on carpets and upholstery if needed
Sprinkle food-safe diatomaceous earth in hidden areas only if appropriate
Repeat vacuuming and cleaning daily until ants are gone
Have the car professionally detailed if the infestation persists
Inspect for ants in the trunk, spare tire area, and under child seats
Remove any pet food or treats left in the car
Fix moisture issues and remove standing water inside the vehicle
Contact a pest control professional if ants keep returning
