Park away from ant trails, nests, and infested areas
Seal or close windows, doors, and sunroof completely
Inspect the car for entry points around doors, vents, and trim
Use ant bait stations placed outside the car, not inside
Apply a car-safe ant spray only where appropriate and according to label directions
Sprinkle food-grade diatomaceous earth in hidden areas if safe to use
Replace cabin air filters if ants are entering through the ventilation system
Keep the car dry and fix any moisture sources
Avoid leaving pet food, snacks, or garbage in the car
Repeat cleaning and treatment until no ants remain
Seek professional pest control if the infestation persists
