Wear breathable shoes and rotate pairs
Use antifungal cream, spray, or powder as directed on the label
Apply antifungal treatment to the affected area and surrounding skin
Continue treatment for the full recommended time
Keep feet cool and dry
Use clean towels and do not share them
Wash socks, towels, and bedding in hot water if possible
Disinfect shoes with antifungal spray or powder
Wear shower shoes in public showers, locker rooms, and pools
Avoid tight shoes and synthetic socks when possible
Trim toenails and keep them clean
Avoid scratching the rash
Seek medical care if it does not improve, spreads, or becomes painful
