Wear properly fitting shoes with enough room for your toes
Use cushioned socks or insoles to reduce pressure
Avoid walking barefoot on hard surfaces
Trim toenails regularly to reduce pressure on the feet
Repeat gentle exfoliation a few times per week
Stop if the skin becomes painful, red, or irritated
See a podiatrist if the callus is severe, recurrent, or you have diabetes or poor circulation
