How To Get Rid Of Gnats?

Empty and clean any trash cans and recycle bins

Remove standing water from sinks, drains, planters, trays, and buckets

Clean and scrub kitchen/bathroom drains with a brush

Run hot water through drains regularly

Use a drain cleaner safe for your plumbing as directed

Cover exposed food and promptly clean up spills

Store fruit and vegetables in the refrigerator or sealed containers

Wipe counters, sweep floors, and clean under appliances

Empty and rinse pet food/water bowls daily

Wash recycling bins and compost containers regularly

Check indoor plants for gnat activity and remove dead leaves

Let the top 1–2 inches of potting mix dry out between waterings

Use sticky traps near windows and around affected areas
