Apply a cold compress or ice wrapped in cloth for 10–15 minutes at a time, several times a day
Use a warm compress after the first 24–48 hours to help blood reabsorb faster
Gently massage the area around the bruise, not hard enough to irritate it
Apply aloe vera gel to soothe the skin
Use arnica gel or cream if available
Apply vitamin K cream if available
Keep the area elevated if possible
Cover it with makeup or clothing if you need to hide it quickly
Avoid rubbing, scratching, or picking at the area
Stay hydrated and get enough sleep
Seek medical advice if it is very painful, swollen, or not improving
