Apply a cold compress or wrapped ice pack for 10–15 minutes at a time, several times a day for the first 24–48 hours
After 48 hours, use a warm compress for 10–15 minutes at a time to help increase circulation
Gently massage the area around the mark, not directly if it hurts
Use arnica gel or vitamin K cream if available
Apply aloe vera gel to soothe the skin
Use makeup or concealer to cover it temporarily
Wear clothing, scarves, or accessories to hide it
Avoid scratching or irritating the area
Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen only if needed and if safe for you
Give it time, since most love bites fade on their own within a few days to two weeks
