Blot up any wet polish immediately with paper towels or a clean white cloth
Do not rub the stain
Scrape off any dried excess with a dull knife or spoon

Dab the stain with a small amount of acetone using a white cloth or cotton ball
Blot from the outside of the stain toward the center
