How to Get Rid of Scale on Plants?

Isolate the infested plant

Prune heavily infested stems and leaves

Wipe visible scale off with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol

Spray the plant with insecticidal soap or horticultural oil

Repeat treatment every 7 to 14 days until gone

Check leaf undersides, stems, and joints for hidden scale

Remove and discard severely infested plant parts

Wash the plant with a strong stream of water

Treat nearby plants if infestation has spread

Monitor the plant regularly for new scale
