Wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge
Use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) on a cloth to dissolve residue, then wipe clean
Apply adhesive remover (commercial) according to the label, then wipe and rinse
Use nail polish remover (acetone) for small spots on non-painted, non-plastic-delicate surfaces
Try white vinegar for label or tape residue: soak cloth, hold briefly, wipe off, rinse
Use baking soda paste (baking soda + water) and gently scrub
Use cooking oil (or olive oil) to loosen sticky residue, then wash with dish soap
For crayon or gum: freeze with an ice pack, then scrape gently
Use a plastic scraper or old credit card to lift residue without scratching
Wash again with dish soap or an all-purpose cleaner after any solvent/oil method
Test any chemical on a hidden area first
Repeat as needed until residue is gone
