Rinse the stain from the back with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the detergent into the fabric
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse again with cold water
Repeat if needed
If the stain remains, apply a stain remover or a paste of baking soda and water
Wash the clothing in the coldest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Air-dry the item until the stain is completely gone
Repeat treatment before using a dryer if any stain remains
