Blot the stain immediately with a clean cloth or paper towel
Rinse the back of the stain with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric against itself or with a soft brush
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse with cold water
If the stain remains, soak the shirt in cold water with oxygen bleach
Wash the shirt in the hottest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if needed
For grease stains, apply dish soap before washing
For blood stains, use cold water only
For ink stains, dab with rubbing alcohol before washing
Avoid using heat until the stain is fully removed
