Soak the glued area in warm, soapy water for 10–20 minutes
Gently roll or peel the bond off; don’t pull hard enough to tear skin
Use petroleum jelly (or hand/body lotion) and gently rub to loosen the glue
Apply vegetable oil or olive oil and rub gently until the glue softens
Use a cotton ball or soft cloth with acetone/nail polish remover on the glued spot
Avoid spreading acetone beyond the glued area; protect surrounding skin with petroleum jelly
Reapply acetone in short intervals, then gently roll the glue off
Wash with soap and water after acetone use
If glue is on fingertips, soak in warm water, then gently file/roll off with a pumice stone or emery board
Stop if skin becomes irritated or painful; repeat later
If the glue is stuck to eyelids or near eyes, do not use acetone—seek urgent medical care
If glue is on lips, inside the mouth, or genitals, seek urgent medical care
If skin is damaged, blistered, or you can’t remove it after repeated attempts, seek medical care
Seek urgent medical care for chemical burns from removers
