Remove the AirPods from the water immediately
Turn them off if possible
Wipe the outside with a soft, lint-free cloth
Shake out excess water gently
Hold the AirPods with the speaker openings facing down
Leave them in a dry, well-ventilated place
Let them air-dry for at least 24 to 48 hours
Do not use heat, a hair dryer, or direct sunlight
Do not charge them until they are completely dry
Do not use rice
If sound is muffled after drying, repeat the drying process
