Let the wax harden completely
Scrape off excess wax with a dull knife or credit card
Place a paper towel or brown paper bag over the wax
Use a warm iron on low heat over the paper towel
Move the paper towel as wax transfers to it
Repeat with clean paper until no more wax lifts
Apply stain remover or dish soap to any remaining residue
Wash the fabric according to its care label
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the process if needed before using heat again
For delicate fabrics, use a hair dryer on low or consult a dry cleaner
