Open WhatsApp
Go to the Status tab
View the status video you want to save
Use a file manager app on your phone
Enable Show hidden files if needed
Go to Internal Storage
Open WhatsApp
Open Media
Open .Statuses
Find the status video file
Copy or move the video to another folder
If .Statuses is not visible, use a status saver app
Open the status saver app
Refresh the status list
Select the video
Save or download it to your device
On iPhone, use screen recording if no file access is available
Make sure you have permission before saving or sharing the video
