Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, and a gift tag
Place the gift in a box if needed
Measure enough wrapping paper to cover the gift
Cut the wrapping paper to size
Center the gift on the paper
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and tape the seam
Fold the ends inward to form neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps down and tape them flat
Repeat on the other end
Add ribbon or a bow if desired
Attach a gift tag
Smooth any wrinkles and check that all edges are secured
