Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, and a gift tag
Place the gift in the center of the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it can cover the gift with a little overlap
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and secure it with tape
Fold the ends inward to form neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps down and tape them in place
Repeat on the other end of the gift
Add ribbon or a bow if desired
Attach a gift tag
Check for loose edges and secure them with tape
